The California Association of Alcohol and Drug Program Executives (CAADPE) is the sponsor for AB 1267, which addresses the current fragmented licensing structure for SUD treatment providers. The bill establishes a more efficient, consolidated license and certification process that allows providers to operate multiple facilities and programs under a single license and certification when they are located in the same geographic area.
