SUD Voices Listening Sessions – Live

let’s make sure the system works for real people.

We live in the Capitol’s shadow, but too many individuals and families still can’t get help when they need it. SUD Voices for Change is making sure decisions made in Sacramento and implemented across California reflect real experiences—across California.

Why join?

Your voice will help shape how California invests opioid settlement funds. Don’t let policymakers and system administrators guess what communities need—tell them directly.

Who should attend:

  • Individuals living on Skid Row in L.A. or in unhoused communities across the state
  • Veterans, LGBTQ+ community members, and formerly incarcerated individuals
  • Individuals impacted by SUD, such as those actively using, in recovery, or caring for those using.
  • Residents of all Service Planning Areas (SPAs)

We want to hear your challenging and rewarding experiences with the current system:

  • Shuffling between programs
  • Accessing services responsive to your linguistic and cultural background
  • Waiting too long to get a slot when you needed help most
  • How would you help us change the system?
  • What knowledge, support and competencies would you need to be an effective advocate trainer for SUD Voices?

Your time matters:

Participants will receive a gift card up to $45 for your full participation. Breakfast is provided.
